Experience Ebro Fishing

The River Ebro is one of Spain's longest rivers, at 578 miles long. It has Carp, Catfish, Zander, Perch Bass and even Pike. The main attraction is the Catfish and Carp – the climate is such that they grow to colossal sizes. In the 1970’s Catfish were introduced to the river and have bred there ever since, for over 40 years. On our stretch of the river they have been caught and released weighing over 220 pounds. Carp have been caught at weights up to 60 pounds. We try to find the best possible fishing spots, depending on river conditions – generally at the end of the garden, which is a fishing hotspot.

The Location

Ebro Escapes is based in the town of Caspe, Aragon. There's lots to experience – with shops, tapas bars, restaurants, supermarkets and fishing tackle shops to explore. It also has an historic castle with views across the Ebro. Caspe also has lots of fiesta and old traditions to sample while you stay with Ebro Escapes.

One letting room with en-suite, sleeping a maximum of three guests is available. TV, Wi-Fi, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities and welcome pack are all supplied. Our guests have their own front entrance patio area with garden furniture. Our location is only one minute from the door to the River Ebro.

Nearby Travel

Flights from most UK airports to Zaragoza (free pick up and drop off) are available, as are flights to Reus (£75.00 per group, surcharge) and Barcelona El Prat (£100.00 per group). Car hire is available from all airports mentioned. Trains are also available to and from airports to Caspe.
