Caspe, Aragon, Spain
Caspe is a town in Aragon with lots of shops, tapas, bars, restaurants, supermarkets and fishing tackle shops. It also has an historic castle with views across the Ebro, with lots of fiestas and old traditions. We are approx 5 mins drive from the town. Also Caspe has an emergency health clinic and excellent pharmacy, as well as a train station with direct routes to Barcelona and Zaragoza.
Features accessible from Caspe include Cambrils/Salou, one and a half hours by car or train with nice beaches, bars, nightclubs, water sports etc; Barcelona, two and half hours by car (faster by train) for shopping or watching football at the Nou Camp; Zaragoza, one hour drive or less by train, offering an up and coming city with all modern shops, tapas bars, historic cathedral and airport; Alcaniz, 20 minutes drive from Caspe, has its own racetrack that hosts the Moto GP every September and other motor racing events throughout the year; Pamplona offers an annual Bull Running Festival.
Portaventura is one and half hour drive, with a large theme park that experiences 4 million visitors per-year – with 8 rollercoasters and even an water park.
